Water saving shower heads
Quality materials, first-class design and advanced engineering all play an important role in saving water. GROHE EcoJoy™ hand showers feature either an integrated flow limiter or an Eco button or spray dimmer which let you to choose when to reduce the water flow.
Rainshower® Icon, Eco and Solo hand-held shower heads all feature a water-saving Eco button on the handle – simply slide the button and you can reduce the water used for your shower by up to 40%. The striking halo-shaped design of the Rainshower® Icon hand shower uses less water to deliver a large full spray, while Rainshower® Eco features a lozenge-shaped spray plate that mimics the shape of the human body from above – ensuring full coverage without wasting water.
The Euphoria hand shower features a spray dimmer on the shower face – this allows you to gradually reduce the volume of water used as well as switching between spray patterns.
Save water with a digital shower
GROHE Ondus® faucets and showers feature the latest water-saving technology. The shower can be pre-programmed with the user’s preferred combination of water flow rate and temperature, therefore it is not necessary to waste time and water adjusting the temperature and pressure before taking your shower. The inclusion of a ‘Pause’ button on the shower control enables you to stop the water mid-shower (e.g. to shampoo your hair) and then re-start it at exactly the same temperature and flow, for further water saving.
Save water by investing in a shower thermostat
although primarily chosen for safety and comfort, a shower thermostat will also help you to save water. Shower thermostats maintain the chosen water temperature for the duration of your shower, so there is no need to spend time re-adjusting the temperature if the water supply changes e.g. if someone flushes the toilet or draws water elsewhere in the home. Many models also include an Eco button on the thermostat body to reduce the flow rate by 50 percent.

Concealed dual-flush cisterns
Designed for use with wall-hung toilets and back-to-wall toilets, concealed dual-flush cisterns let the user choose how much water to use when flushing the toilet. By using a lower volume of water to flush the toilet you can dramatically reduce your annual water consumption and contribute to the protection of this valuable natural resource.
How much water does a dual-flush toilet use?
The GROHE range of concealed cisterns allows you to choose between single flushing, start/stop flushing and dual flushing – this is determined by your choice of flush actuation plate. A dual-flush toilet offers a choice of two flush volumes: large, 6 liters and small, 3 liters. The cisterns can also be adjusted to flush with a reduced volume of 4.5 liters and 3 liters.

The innovative pause function available on all wireless! Showers are another example of how creating the perfect balance of technology and design ensures economical use of resources. Our ultra stylish Rainshower® heads further enhance our focus on protecting the environment, by delivering the best showering experience but using the least amount of water. Our 130 and 160mm Rainshower® hand showers use 8 liters per minute at a flow pressure of 1 bar, this is significantly less than a competitor hand shower set which uses up to 30%* more water and even our basin mixers with adjustable flow limiters, suitable for children’s bathrooms and cloakrooms reduce water usage.
